Sometimes I just can't get it together

Is it just me or is it the weather
I wish I could fly

But I know this is just a "pie in the sky"

No sound could be heard
Of detracting words
And on these detractors, I could send a big - oops, can't say that word
But I cannot fly
Up high in the sky
Besides I have some "fish to fry"
And that is why
My tears I dry
As I aim to soar to my own personal high
Way up high
In the sky
My "Pie in the sky"
And my "Fish to fry"
