NONE SO BLIND
There’s none so blind as those who will not see
What’s happening in the world around thee.
Death and destruction, pollution and unease,
People upset and people to appease.
Whales being threatened, the reef at risk,
More and more of our world is fighting to exist.
Big business expanding, and in their haste
Causing global warming and nuclear waste.
More species added to the endangered list.
Soon the world’s forests will cease to exist.
Drug cartels thriving, terrorism on the rise,
News reporting being compromised.
Government taxes getting worse and worse.
None of it affecting the pollies purse!
Families struggling to make ends meet
Find it impossible to get back on their feet.
Economies crashing, war and unrest.
Illegal immigrants invading the West.
Asylum seekers, Islamic preachers
Seeing caliphate within their reaches.
Cultures vanishing from the Earth
As Islamic culture invades their turf.
Soon all the world will look just the same
No Swedes, no Germans and no more Danes.
Sharia law, women oppressed,
No more wearing that pretty dress…
Childhood marriages and FGM,
The Gay community had better run!
Tolerance is a two-way street -
Compromise and in the middle meet.
But there’s no compromise with a caliphate
Driven by the Qur’an that’s full of hate.
Take off the blindfolds and open those eyes
Look at the world and what may be it’s demise.
Death and destruction, pollution and unease,
People upset and people to appease.
