True emotions can't be heard

Readers often bark up the wrong tree

Instead of believing they mean no ill intent

They take offence where none is meant

Reading more into words than there be

Friendships come and friendships go

Like the tide they ebb and flow

But I didn't set out to make enemies

"Do unto others" I believe is true

"As you would have them do unto you"

Take time to see there's good in me

Oh deary, deary me...

People, please, take time to ponder

Before sending that hurtful message yonder

Don't act so rashly, have empathy
