On Day 9 we travelled to Myin Kat Village, home to the Danu and Taung Yoe poeple. One gentleman kindly had his daughter dress in her native costume and pose for us. We saw people at work in the village, and I even found an egg cactus (lol). Everyone was very friendly and we were even invited into their homes.

We then travelled way up into the hills to Pein Ne Bin Village (home to the Palaung people) where we were able to take some shots inside a building of some people sitting in what was their kitchen - an open fire on the floor of the room. We also visited the local school and was surprised to see a service station - a shelf with little bottles of petrol for their scooters and motorbikes.

Then we headed back to Kalaw for dinner and overnight stay.
