On Day 11 we left Korcula and travelled down the coast to Sipan. We had a stop here for a look around and to have lunch. Such a quiet place with a lot of places fallen into ruin. The young on these islands leave to work in the cities. One large mansion must have been magnificent in it's day but is now a rotting and decaying building, which is sad.
After lunch we had a leisurely stroll back to the boat where we departed for Dubrovnik. We spent the afternoon wandering around a large fortress at the old city - so big inside. It was interesting to see a couple of doors into the cliffside under the stairs on the way up to the fort. Not sure if they are inhabited or not. Dubrovnik really is a special place.
