On Day 8, we travelled by boat toward Vis, stopping on the way to visit the Blue Caves, which are only accessible at low tide and are lit from underwater and glow the most beautiful shade of blue. So pretty. Then we travelled on to the Green Caves, lit by a small hole in the ceiling of the cave. Apologies for the quality of the cave images as it was intensely dark inside as it was very dark inside.

After that we travelled on to the island of Vis. My grandfather was born on Vis before travelling to New Zealand. Alas, the house he was born in has become very dilapidated over time, but travelling to Vis for the second time was like coming home. It is nice to finally know where your family originated from, and to meet up with a friend that I met on my first trip.
