On Day 9 we left Vis at dawn and headed to Korcula. We docked at Korcula and what a beautiful place it is. So tidy and picturesque, from the alleyways to the sea views, the doors, windows, little churches and flowers. We were lucky to have some "models" among our group to pose for us and the locals often tried to join us in the photos, so very friendly.
We explored Korcula during the day and heading toward sunset we made our way to a bar and lookout to watch the sun go down. The entry to the top of the fort was via a very steep stairway/ladder with a very narrow opening at the top which meant sending our backpacks up separately. A very worthwhile place to visit.
