Day 3 saw us heading out of Queensland heading to Lake Wanaka and the infamous "Wanaka Tree", stopping on the way to photograph a little country church in magnificent surroundings. The land around the Wanaka Tree tried to gobble me up and I sunk down into it up to my knee. When the other members of the group pulled me out I lost the sole of my boot and had to take an urgent visit to the shops to buy a new pair.
We later stopped to visit the "bra fence", called Bradrona - masses and masses of bras!
