Submerged
Submerged
Like a rock
Weighted down with tears and fears
Nobody seems to worry or care
I struggle to surface
But there’s no-one there
Empty
An abandoned shell
Washed up on the beach of life
By the tide of tears and fears
I struggle for air
But there’s no-one there
Alone
The silent phone
The deafening silence of solitude
Unable to reach out for help
Hoping for a call
But there’s no-one there
Trapped
Like a bug
In the spider web watching life pass
Wanting to be happy and free
I struggle alone
Because there’s no-one there
