The Bluebird of Happiness
The bluebird of happiness
Flies in and out our lives
How long he stays nobody knows
Nobody knows when he will go
Into everybody’s lives
A little rain must fall
When the little bird of happiness
Cannot be found at all
He’s free to come and free to go
Where he goes, no-one knows
But while the rain clouds our day
This little bird stays away
The little bird of happiness
Cannot be kept within a cage
He’s free to go and spread his joy
To everyone on this world
And when the clouds eventually clear
This little bird will reappear
And happiness will have once again
Chased away the clouds and rain.
